Cottage Gilė is one of the special houses of the Medlijas homestead, inviting you to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the peace and harmony of nature. This cottage is designed to provide comfort and make you feel part of nature. Wood trim further enhances the sense of nature.
Outdoor Activities and Amenities
You can cook outdoors – a barbecue with a grill and firewood is prepared for this. There is a fireplace with benches nearby, where you can enjoy the crackling of fire, long conversations and cozy evenings in the open air. The cottage is adapted for recreation from spring to autumn (3 seasons).
Rest and additional services
Not far from the cottage, on the island, you will find the unique Baltic Milo sauna, which you can book for an additional fee. This is a great opportunity to relax after the excitement of the day or warm up in the cold season. You can also walk along the 2 km educational trail that runs along the Babrūnė stream – an ideal activity for nature lovers.

The uniqueness of the house lies in its environment – harmonious tranquility of nature, fresh air and the opportunity to completely break away from the daily hustle and bustle. In addition, the space is adapted for both couples and small groups of friends who want to spend time quietly surrounded by nature.
Conditions Cottage Acorn
Cottage Acorn is suitable for a comfortable overnight stay for two adults. Inside:
- Towels and hygiene products.
- Kettle and cups perfect for tea or coffee breaks.
- Clay shoulder for warming the air or preparing warm water for cozy evenings.
- Board games that will not let you get bored even in cooler weather.

Bed
50€ per day.
The minimum number of rental days is 3 days.

“Active experiences in Medlia: discover the connection with nature and traditions
Medlijas offers a number of unique activities that will allow guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of nature, traditions and an eco-friendly lifestyle:
Excursions: guided walks around the area are organized, during which you can get acquainted with the concept of “MiškaSodis” – sustainable forest gardens, as well as learn about plants, trees and their role in the ecosystem.
Honey tasting: Guests have the opportunity to taste natural honey created according to the Marius Krikščiūnas beekeeping initiative and get acquainted with the harvesting process.
Participation in the “Herbal Academy”: there are classes and seminars about useful herbs, their collection and use. You can also participate in games and self-knowledge activities, such as the Lila Game.
Workshops: For those who are interested in crafts, traditional Lithuanian practices are offered – weaving, making herbal mixtures or cooking.

To ensure your pleasant and safe rest in our Medlijas homestead, please follow these rules:
🌿 Responsible behaviour in nature
Respect the beauty of nature – do not litter, protect plants and animals.
Treat children responsibly – their parents/guardians take care of their safety.
If you are planning to bring a pet, please inform us in advance. Any damage that may be caused by a pet is the responsibility of its owner.
🔥 Ugniakurai ir laužavietės
- Ugnį galima kurti tik tam skirtose vietose – laužavietėse, šašlykinėse.
- Visada prižiūrėkite uždegtą laužą ir baigus kūrenti, įsitikinkite, kad jis visiškai užgesintas vandeniu ar žemėmis.
💦 Poilsis ir saugumas
- Nesimaudykite apsvaigę nuo alkoholio ar kitų psichiką veikiančių medžiagų.
- Baseine ir pirtyje elkitės atsargiai – nebėgiokite šlapiomis grindimis, nešokinėkite į vandenį.
- Vaikai iki 14 metų prie vandens turi būti prižiūrimi suaugusiųjų.
- Jei planuojate pakviesti svečių, praneškite administracijai iš anksto.
🏡 Turto apsauga
Rūpinkitės teritorijoje esančiu inventoriumi – už sugadintą ar pamestą turtą atsako klientas.
Neimkite vidaus patalpoms skirtų pledų, rankšluosčių, antklodžių ar pagalvių naudoti lauke.
Nesilaikant vidaus tvarkos taisyklių, administracija pasilieka teisę paprašyti svečių palikti teritoriją be grąžinimo mokesčio.

Nekurkite ugnies ne tam skirtose vietose.
Jei nesate įgudęs plaukikas, į vandenį eikite atsargiai – kai kurios vietos gali būti staigiai gilėjančios.
Vengti maudymosi esant žaibui, škvalui ar stipriam vėjui.
Plaukiojant valtimi ar irklente visada turėkite gelbėjimosi liemenę.
